The Rorschach test is a method of psychological evaluation in which subjects perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using, depending on the psychologist, intuitive insight, complex scientifically derived algorithms, or both. Some psychologists use this test to try to examine the personality characteristics and emotional functioning of their patients.
